Kylie Jenner hasn't secretly married boyfriend Travis Scott, despite a new tabloid cover story claiming the reality star and rapper have tied the knot after less than two months of dating. Gossip Cop can exclusively set the record straight.
The latest issue of Life & Style purports to have details about Jenner and Scott's alleged recent wedding at her Calabasas mansion. A supposed "source" tells the magazine that the reality star only invited a few close friends to a small ceremony, during which she and Scott exchanged vows while playing the rapper's song "Goosebumps." The outlet's dubious insider goes on to assert that the wedding wasn't filmed for Jenner's upcoming E! reality show, "Life of Kylie," but instead she had friends film the nuptials on their iPhones and "plans to use the footage on her new show."
The magazine's questionable source then goes on to say that Jenner's sister Kendall was the only member of the Kardashian-Jenner family who she told about the top-secret wedding. "Kylie didn't tell [mom] Kris or most of her family about the wedding because she knew they'd all panic and react negatively," says the seemingly made-up insider. "Kylie knew her mom would go ballistic about the wedding... Especially after the messy divorces Khloe and Kim went through following their quickie weddings."
But the tabloid's story doesn't stop at marriage. The "source" goes on to assert that Jenner and Scott are "already talking about having kids," adding, "She wants to have at least four children. She can't wait to start a family with Travis." Naturally, Gossip Cop looked into the tabloid's far-fetched tale, and we can exclusively debunk all of it.
A mutual pal of ours and Jenner assures us she isn't secretly married, while a trustworthy source close to Scott also tells us he and the reality star haven't tied the knot. Of course, this fake news is coming from the same unreliable magazine that has repeatedly published bogus stories about the reality star. Gossip Cop recently busted the publication for wrongly reporting Jenner was warned to fire Kris as her manager. We also shot down the outlet's claim Jenner's dad Caitlyn was demanding a role on her reality show. This marriage cover story might be the most implausible one yet, and it's equally untrue.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
