Kylie Jenner Stop Instagram Stalkers

Kylie Jenner is reportedly being urged to cut down on flashy Instagram posts, as police supposedly believe it could be attracting alleged stalkers.

As Gossip Cop reported, an unnamed guy showed up at Jenner’s private community on Christmas Eve, and tried to force his way past the security gate to see her. The so-called “obsessed fan” was apprehended and placed under a psychiatric hold, only to escape from custody. Thankfully he was recaptured, but since it was at least his 10th time trying to get on to Jenner’s property, it’s likely the individual will try again.

Now cops have reportedly warned Jenner that her Instagram photos showing off her luxurious lifestyle may be making her a target. The teen frequently posts pictures of designer goods, including jewelry, and even did so just two days ago, showing off a vintage Bvlgari watch she apparently got for Christmas. While Jenner ostensibly should be able to share whatever she wants without fear of having her privacy invaded or worse, the reality is that some stalkers and burglars do use social media to track their victims.

Despite her apparent penchant for Instagram, the star has actually expressed mixed feelings about the service in recent weeks. “I’m not myself on Snapchat or Instagram. That’s totally not me,” she told Interview earlier this month, insisting she doesn’t “find happiness within materialistic things.” She explained, “I’m way flashier on Instagram and Snapchat, because I feel like that’s what people want to see and that’s what I’ve always done, so I’m not going to stop. People want to see my cars and my purses. People love fashion. But that’s so not me.”

And in her just-released Elle UK cover story, Jenner looks to the future, saying, “Once I have a kid I’m not going to be on Instagram. You know, I’ll probably delete my Instagram and just… I don’t know, live life.” While having kids is probably a long way off, the 18-year-old might want to consider deleting her account sooner.
