Kristen Stewart SNL Promo

Kristen Stewart sings, albeit briefly, in her first “SNL” promo. Watch below!

It was announced earlier this month that Stewart will be hosting “Saturday Night Live” for the first time. As all hosts do, she’s spending this week at 30 Rock prepping for her episode, which will air this weekend, on February 4. And to promote the gig, she filmed a number of teasers that will run on NBC and online.

The first preview debuted on Wednesday afternoon, and kicks off with “SNL” cast member Beck Bennett dramatically crooning, “Kristennnnnnnn Stewwwwwwwart.” Not only does he sport a costume hat and show off a touch of choreography, but Bennett also has two backup dancers clad in sparkly pink dresses. As the camera pulls back, it’s revealed Stewart is actually on stage watching.

“Wow,” she says in an impressed tone. “I wrote one for you, too. That’s so crazy. Do you want to hear it?” With that, the big band music picks back up, and Stewart belts Bennett’s first name much like he did hers. But he’s hardly blown away.

The comedic actor tells Stewart, “Wow. No last name. No fedora. You have a lot of work to do before Saturday!” Gossip Cop won’t spoil the ending, but an “I love you” is involved. Additional clips should be released in the coming days. And, as always, we’ll have full coverage when “SNL” airs this Saturday. Check out Stewart’s first promo below!
