Kristen Stewart is not seeing her ex-girlfriend Alicia Cargile behind Stella Maxwell‘s back, despite a new tabloid story. Gossip Cop can correct this false claim. We’re told there’s “no truth to it” at all.
According to the National Enquirer, Stewart has been “caught double-dipping with her lady loves.” The magazine alleges that “just weeks after setting up house with Victoria’s Secret model Stella Maxwell, the Twilight vamp was caught sneaking around with ex-gal pal Alicia.” A so-called “spywitness” is quoted as telling the tabloid that it “looked like something was going on” when Stewart was spotted visiting Cargile’s home on June 5.
Of course, the publication does not definitively know that Stewart was cheating on Maxwell or that the model didn’t know her actress girlfriend went to visit Cargile. Gossip Cop is told that while admittedly Stewart has returned to Cargile a number of times when other romances have fizzled, right now the actress is firmly dating Maxwell, though still remains friends with her ex. We hear Maxwell has no problem with Stewart hanging out with Cargile because, as our insider says, “[The model] and Kirsten have a good thing… They’re two peas in a pod.”
Three weeks ago, the Enquirer‘s sister publication Star tried to peddle that Stewart was cheating on Maxwell with Cargile. But even after photos emerged of the actress’s visit to her ex (as noted above), Stewart and the model have been spotted looking romantic on several occasions. Clearly, Maxwell does not believe Stewart is seeing Cargile behind her back. Still, Gossip Cop reached out to a source close to the situation who assures us there’s “no truth” to the tabloid’s latest tale.
Actually, the publication has been mistaken about Stewart on a number of occasions. A little more than a week ago, for example, Gossip Cop busted the Enquirer when it falsely claimed Stewart was replacing Angelina Jolie in the Bride of Frankenstein remake. Much like the horror job at reporting, the latest article involving Stewart, Maxwell and Cargile is also scarily wrong.
Gossip Cop believes there to be elements of truth, but the story is ultimately misleading.
