Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson never got back together, despite a report from a year ago claiming the exes were reuniting. Gossip Cop debunked the story when it first emerged on August 7, 2017. It's now a full 365 days later, and the exes clearly aren't a couple again.
In an interview with Harper's Bazaar last year, Stewart opened about about her bisexuality by expressing, "Some people know that they like grilled cheese and they'll eat it every day for the rest of their lives. I want to try everything." Celeb Dirty Laundry used the actress's quote as some sort of confession that Stewart "misses" Pattinson and is thinking about "getting back" with him.
The claim was completely unrelated to what the actress actually said. In fact, Stewart didn't mention Pattinson's name once during the interview. The actress simply stated that she's open to dating both men and women. The blog arbitrarily linked that comment to her ex-boyfriend without any reason to do so.
Regardless, time has shown that Stewart and Pattinson have moved on from their breakup, and aren't planning to get back together anytime soon. Stewart is currently dating model Stella Maxwell, and the two are constantly spotted showing PDA, such as cuddling and kissing during a recent dinner date in Silver Lake, California. It doesn't seem that Stewart "misses" her ex-boyfriend. Meanwhile, Pattinson is currently dating model Suki Waterhouse. The new couple was seen last week packing on the PDA during a date night in London.
Although Celeb Dirty Laundry's story was completely ridiculous, Gossip Cop still reached out last year to a source close to Stewart to see if in some possible way her remarks could be related to Pattinson and a desire to date him again. We were assured the site's story was as baseless as it seemed. The outlet simply saw an opportunity to drag Stewart's ex into an interview completely unrelated to him.
Unfortunately, the unreliable website published a bogus follow-up story about the Twilight stars just one week later. The blog continued speculating about whether Pattinson and Stewart would get back together, without any evidence suggesting such a scenario would play out. Once it became clear the exes weren't reuniting, the outlet came up with other phony angles about the actor's love life. In January, for instance, we debunked a false story claiming Pattinson was using Emma Stone to get over FKA Twigs. The blog's articles clearly never age well, but Gossip Cop told you that from the very beginning.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
