Kristen Stewart Karl Lagerfeld Chanel Video September 2015

Kristen Stewart joins Julianne Moore, Keira Knightley, and more celebrities in a new video promoting Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld’s “Mademoiselle Privé” exhibit. Watch below!

Lagerfeld’s portraits of the women will be on display at London’s Saatchi Gallery October 13 through November 1. The fashion designer photographed the stars, including Lily Rose Depp and her mom Vanessa Paradis, wearing the brand’s “Bijoux de Diamants” collection. The exhibit promises to be “a journey through the origins of Chanel’s creations capturing the charismatic personality and irreverent spirit of Mademoiselle Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld.”

In a new behind-the-scenes video taken at the photo shoot, each of the stars opens up about the honor of working with Lagerfeld and the beauty of Chanel. Stewart is the first to be featured, saying in an interview, “I’m sure that as an artist Karl works instinctively and compulsively in the same way that he does in all of his mediums, but really as a photographer, there’s such a naturalism.”

“Once he sees something, you can be done in five minutes, and you don’t even realize that you’ve just finished the entire thing, because he just knows sort of exactly what he wants,” continues Stewart. In another clip, Stewart talks about the understated feminine quality of Lagerfeld and Chanel’s offerings, saying, “[It’s] the true strength of a woman. It’s not about being loud or in your face, it’s about being subdued and knowing.”

Stewart, of course, has a long history with the fashion house, as does Moore, who makes similar remarks in the video. As Gossip Cop reported, the Still Alice co-stars walked in the Chanel show during Paris Fashion Week show in July. Check out the new video below, and tell us what you think!
