Are Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble "calling it quits"? That's the claim coming from one of the tabloids. But Gossip Cop has learned the report isn't accurate.

According to In Touch, the couple's "three-year romance is coming to an end." A so-called "source" is quoted as saying, "Kris is ready to call it quits with Corey. They have been fighting nonstop lately, and you can hear it in her voice that she is done." The tabloid doesn't say what the pair is allegedly "fighting" about, but the supposed snitch claims Jenner's children are onboard with a breakup and never cared for him in the first place. "[They] only stood by their mom's decision to date him because they wanted her to be happy, but now that they see trouble, they feel Kris should lose Corey and move on."

What "trouble" is the Kardashian-Jenner kids seeing? Again, the gossip magazine doesn't say. Still, the purported tipster goes on to contend, "Kris had fun while it lasted, but the relationship has become more trouble than it's worth it." This "source" adds to the outlet, "Corey has become dead weight, just another person for Kris to worry about." How so? And when does Jenner plan to actually dump him? That's not said either. And nothing is mentioned about the publication's sister tabloid, Life & Style, insisting more than a year ago that Jenner and Gamble were getting married.

So, what we have here is an article filled with vague allegations from the same publishing company that previously wrongly ran a wedding story. At the same time, Jenner and Gamble are actually showing they're still going strong. In the last week and a half, they've stepped out twice together, including at a Tommy Hilfiger event where they posed together on the red carpet.

Jenner would have no reason to do that if a split is imminently on her agenda. On the contrary, Gossip Cop is told that the momager has no plans for any major life changes right now. Our source, speaking on the condition of anonymity, acknowledged that the pair's relationship probably won't last forever, but said they'll be keeping up the status quo for now.

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop believes there to be elements of truth, but the story is ultimately misleading.
