Kris Jenner isn't planning to manage O.J. Simpson's career after he's released from prison later this year, despite a bogus new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this fake news.
As Gossip Cop reported, Simpson was granted parole on Thursday after serving less than nine years of his 33-year prison sentence for armed robbery and kidnapping. The former NFL player is expected to be released this October, and the repeatedly discredited MediaTakeOut now purports he'll be going into business with Jenner once he's a free man.
A supposed "insider" tells the webloid that the Kardashian family matriarch "has been actively negotiating to manage O.J. and get him a new show on E! Network." The unreliable site goes on to claim Jenner is currently working out the legalities of doing business with Simpson upon his release, but she's eager to produce a reality series for him. The outlet then goes on to wrongly assert that Simpson was wearing $1,200 Yeezy sneakers bought for him by the Kardashians at his parole hearing on Thursday, but the ex-football player was actually wearing white sneakers that only resembled Kanye West's shoe brand.
Despite how unlikely this all sounds, Gossip Cop still checked in with a source close to the situation, who exclusively assures us the webloid's report is entirely "false." Jenner isn't in talks to manage Simpson's career, nor is she interested in creating a reality show starring the disgraced athlete. Of course, Jenner's late ex-husband, Robert Kardashian, was friends with Simpson, which is seemingly the only reason this story was concocted. In fact, we've corrected numerous phony reports involving Simpson and the Kardashian family matriarch simply because she was connected to him more than 20 years ago.
Gossip Cop called out the National Enquirer earlier this year when it also falsely claimed Jenner pitched a reality show about Simpson. Shortly before that nonsense, we busted The Sun for alleging Simpson wants to date Jenner when he's released from prison. This latest article arbitrarily associating the two is equally phony.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
