Did Kris Jenner “beg” Cher to pose with her daughters, Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian, at a recent movie premiere to drum up publicity for the family? That’s the claim being made by one of the webloids, but Gossip Cop has the exclusive truth!

Earlier this week, the Kardashian sisters and the iconic singer walked together on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of The Promise, a new film chronicling the Armenian genocide during World War I. RadarOnline is now making the absurd claim that Jenner pleaded with Cher to pose alongside her daughters because she felt it would help the ratings for “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”

An alleged insider tells the outlet that the momager “had to pull some serious strings” to get Cher to agree to the photo-op, but the singer eventually complied and was “forced to fake a friendship” with the Kardashian sisters. Despite how unlikely this story seems, Gossip Cop still checked in with a rep for Cher, who exclusively assures us she wasn’t “begged” to pose for the cameras with the reality stars. Like Kim and Kourtney, Cher is of Armenian descent and was on hand at the premiere of The Promise to support the film and the important story it tells.

This bogus report is coming from the same website Gossip Cop previously busted for wrongly alleging that Cher was undergoing stem cell treatments to save her life. Of course, we’ve also called out RadarOnline for its countless made-up articles about the Kardashians. One recent example was the webloid’s false claim that Kim faked a storyline on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” about trying to have a third baby. This latest article is equally untrue.
