Kourtney Kardashian and Younes Bendjima still are not married, despite a report from a year ago that claimed they were in the midst of planning a wedding. Gossip Cop busted the false story 365 days ago. Now the passage of time has proven our debunking was correct.
On July 20, 2017, Gossip Cop called out Life & Style for a story claiming Kardashian and Bendjima were "planning a fall wedding." After dating Scott Disick for nearly a decade without marrying, a so-called "insider" alleged, "[Kourtney] had never planned to tie the knot with anyone, but Younes changed all that." Maintained this untraceable source, "Kourtney is ready to be in a healthy relationship and walk down the aisle with him."
Unsurprisingly, the tabloid insisted the bridal party would consist of Kardashian's sisters and kids, while Kris Jenner was described as "desperate to air" the purported nuptials on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" to
"boost" ratings. Meanwhile, the supposed snitch asserted Disick went "ballistic" upon finding out his ex was getting married. But as Gossip Cop rightly said 12 months ago, he had no reason to be upset over plans that didn't actually exist.
When Gossip Cop investigated, we learned there was no "fall wedding" in the works for Kardashian and Bendjima, who at that time were still in a rather casual romance. Though they became more serious as the months went on, the fall came and went without the couple getting married. Significantly, they never had a baby either, even though in February of 2017, this same magazine announced Kardashian was pregnant with Bendjima's baby. Not only did Gossip Cop bust that tall tale at the time, but when we subsequently debunked this marriage narrative, we pointed out that the outlet's article said nothing about the pregnancy it had reported months prior.
Even more telling, the publication went on to spread untrue pregnancy rumors about Kardashian that October and this past May, too. To date, no reputable media source has said anything about the reality star planning to have a child with Bendjima, or about any intentions to marry him, either. This past week, their relationship actually made headlines due to a social media tiff that led E! Online to report that Kardashian was "frustrated" by Bendjima, who was "in the dog house."
While there's no evidence of a breakup, whether the "KUWTK" star and the model continue to go the distance remains to be seen. But this much is clear: Kardashian and Bendjima are not married and never had a wedding, despite what Life & Style claimed last year.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
