Kourtney Kardashian is not having a "secret crisis" after her breakup with Younes Bendjima, despite a claim. Gossip Cop can bust this false story, which twists the facts. Additionally, Kardashian herself has shown she is doing just fine.
Kardashian's split from Bendjima was revealed on Tuesday, two days after the season premiere of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." The new episode largely focused on the reality star fighting with her famous sisters and mom. Now the National Enquirer is claiming her "rants about her 'disgusting' and 'gross' family were also motivated by her secret heartache over breaking up" with Bendjima. The supermarket tabloid asserts "the boxer and former model went public with the couple's split the day after Kourtney's rant aired," and calls it a "double crisis for Kourtney."
The timing here is all wrong. First of all, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" premiere aired on Sunday. As noted above, Kardashian and Bendjima's split "went public" on Tuesday. That's two days later, not "the day after." More significantly, though her "rants aired" around the same time as the breakup, the footage isn't exactly recent. The Kardashian sisters' fight had to do with arranging their Christmas card shoot last year. In other words, this dispute actually took place more than six months ago.
It has nothing to do with Kardashian's breakup with Bendjima now. In fact, their relationship was going strong around the time this episode was filmed. Kardashian and Bendjima spent Christmas together, and were often seen with one another throughout the first half of 2018. Kardashian and Bendjima also went on a lengthy vacation in Italy in late June and early July. Clearly then, an argument she had with her sisters in November/December has no connection to her breakup with Bendjima roughly half a year later. It's sheer coincidence that the family dust-up is playing out on screen around the time they ended the relationship.
And while the famous siblings did exchange some barbs on Twitter Sunday as the episode aired, there is plenty of evidence the mom of three isn't in a "crisis." Kardashian and sister Kim were all smiles as they went shopping on Tuesday, the same day the split news broke. And on Wednesday, Kardashian enjoyed a girls night out with Larsa Pippen. It's apparent she's going on with her life as normal, not having a "meltdown," as alleged by the gossip outlet.
But that's not all. The publication goes on to suggest that Kardashian's split is also a problem for her because the romance initially started as "revenge" on Scott Disick, who is still dating the much younger Sofia Richie. But Disick's ongoing relationship isn't any kind of setback for his ex. Kardashian has no interest in getting back together with Disick at this point, multiple outlets, including People, have reported. The magazine also noted, "She doesn't mind being single and is keeping busy... She's enjoying the summer in L.A. and doing great."
Conclusion: The National Enquirer claims Kardashian's rants against her family on "KUWTK" were "motivated" by her "heartache" over splitting from Bendjima, but these two events transpired months apart. And as opposed to being in a "double crisis" right now, Kardashian herself has shown she's doing just fine. In addition, aside from their commitment to co-parenting, Disick's continuing romance with Richie doesn't affect her.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
