Kourtney Kardashian isn't undergoing vocal surgery to fix her so-called "annoying voice," despite a completely bogus new report. Gossip Cop looked into this story about the reality star's alleged cosmetic procedure, and we've exclusively learned the truth.
"Surgery Shocker: Kourtney Kardashian Going Under The Knife To Transform Voice!" blares a new RadarOnline headline. The accompanying article claims Kardashian dislikes her way of speaking so much that she's looking into laryngoplasty, a procedure that can change one's voice box. A supposed "source" tells the site, "Kourt knows she has the most annoying voice out of all of her sisters. She hates watching her scenes and hearing how nasal she sounds."
The outlet's dubious insider goes on to contend that Kardashian admires famous women with strong voices, such as Emma Stone and Ashley Judd, so she wants to be able to speak more like them. "She hopes surgery will give her voice a makeover," adds the questionable source. "She sees it as no different from a boob job or any of the other cosmetic makeovers she's had in the past." The "insider" also claims her mom Kris "suggested she get voice lessons, but Kourt told her to butt out!"
Despite how ridiculous this story sounds, Gossip Cop still checked in with a Kardashian insider, who laughed off the webloid's article before exclusively assuring us it's "made-up." The reality star doesn't dislike her voice, nor is she looking into surgery to change it. Additionally, a laryngoplasty is a serious procedure that's designed to repair paralyzed vocal cords, and isn't intended for cosmetic purposes. Regardless, we're told Kardashian isn't undergoing such a surgery.
This phony story is coming from RadarOnline, the same untrustworthy site that Gossip Cop previously called out for wrongly reporting Kardashian was quitting "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." Obviously, she's still on the show. We also busted the webloid earlier this year when it claimed Kardashian was pregnant with a fourth child. Of course, no such baby arrived. This latest article about the reality star's nonexistent vocal surgery is more lies.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
