Scott Disick, Sofia Richie, and Kourtney Kardashian are frequently the subject of false tabloid stories. Many of these articles involve Kardashian supposedly interfering in her ex's relationship with Richie. Here are a few wrong rumors on the topic that Gossip Cop has debunked.
In August 2018, Life & Style falsely claimed Richie was worried about Kardashian "trying to steal back" Disick. The publication based its claim on a social media post by Kardashian's sister Khloe, who shared a photo of her sister with Disick, along with the caption "a girl can dream." An anonymous source told the magazine, "Sofia is furious that Scott and Kourtney are hanging out again. She understands that they have to remain civil for the kids but has become convinced that Kourtney is trying to steal back her man."
In reality, the outlet was just trying to capitalize on the then-recent breakup of Kardashian and Younes Bendjima. A source close to Richie assured us the story was fake and she wasn't concerned about her boyfriend's ex trying to "steal" him back. In the time since we corrected the report, Kardashian and Richie have become very friendly.
Last November, NW came up with a ridiculous story about Disick, Richie and Kardashian having threesomes. These encounters, according to a mysterious "insider," allowed Disick to "act like a Roman emperor." The alleged insider said the three were "having a blast together," but worried it would "end in tears and jealousy eventually, especially if one or God forbid both of them wind up pregnant."
The suspicious tipster further alleged that Richie was at risk of having her heart broken if Disick decided to win Kardashian back amid their "threesomes." These concerns were as nonsensical as the story itself. Gossip Cop ran the scenario by an individual in Richie's camp, who laughed it off before telling us the whole thing was false. At the time the article was published, the only real encounters the three had together were a few dinners.
In April, OK! published a false rumor about Kardashian "tearing apart" Richie and Disick. The outlet claimed the model fought with Disick on a trip to Finland because he spent most of the time flirting with Kardashian. The only true aspect of the story was that the three went on a vacation together. All of the other details were fabricated.
Richie never felt like a "third wheel" or got into an "ugly fight" with Disick, as the publication claimed. Our Richie source told us it was all untrue. People magazine, a much more reliable outlet, even stated that the three had a "great time" together.
It should be noted, Kardashian herself has stated multiple times that she and Disick aren't getting back together. Unfortunately, that hasn't stopped the tabloids from trying to push a love triangle narrative. Gossip Cop will continue to bust these bogus stories about Kardashian interfering in Disick and Richie's relationship.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
