Does Kourtney Kardashian still have "feelings" for Scott Disick? A new report claims "unfinished business" with Disick is the reason Kardashian is not "heartbroken" over her split from Younes Bendjima. Gossip Cop, however, can debunk the story.

According to Heat, Kardashian "still has feelings" for the father of her three children, and she and Disick "could reunite within months." A so-called "insider" is quoted as saying, "The truth is, everybody thinks there's unfinished business between Scott and Kourtney. It's been a running joke that they'll get back together at some point. They have the kids, and if Kourtney had another baby, she'd want Scott to be the dad."

The tabloid goes on to reference Disick's comments on the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" season premiere, during which he said he and Kardashian used to talk about getting back together at the age of 40. The magazine also brings up the exes sitting together at Kylie Jenner's birthday party, where sister Khloe snapped a picture of the former couple and captioned it, "A girl can dream." But what about Disick's relationship with Sofia Richie? "Kourtney wouldn't ruin that, but who knows what'll happen?" asserts the untraceable source.

To be fair, no one can predict the future. But it's ironic that this outlet is purporting to know what the "truth is" when its past reporting on the Kardashian-Jenner family has been anything but truthful. The publication's falsehoods include a February story claiming Kylie and Travis Scott split, an April story alleging Khloe was marrying Tristan Thompson, and a June story contending Kim is running for president. The tabloid's track record leaves a lot to be desired.

Now let's take a look at what reputable media places have recently reported on the subject of Kardashian and Disick rekindling a romance. On August 8, in a piece about his reaction to Kardashian's breakup with Bendjima, E! Online said of Disick, "Since being with Sofia, he has moved on." That same day, Us Weekly said he and Kardashian wouldn't be getting back together, stressing, "Nothing with Scott is rumored or even remotely on the horizon at all, so while people will inevitably try to spin it and say he'll try and get back with her, they aren't going to."

That was corroborated on August 9, when People declared, "Kourtney will never get back with Scott." It was explained, "She's happy about co-parenting with Scott, but that's it." And then on August 11, TMZ also insisted Kardashian and Disick will "never" date again, even despite their hangout at the aforementioned party. It was specifically noted, "Kourtney sees Scott as more of a friend — the romance is over and out."

Now here we are on August 14, with Heat wanting readers to believe the opposite. While Gossip Cop has no doubt Kardashian and Disick's connection will continue to play out on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" for seasons to come, as of now this claim about the pair reuniting is off base. It's just another Heat story that fizzles.

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
