One year after it was falsely claimed Kourtney Kardashian was pregnant and didn’t know who the “baby daddy” was, we’re still waiting for the delivery. The reality star was never pregnant with her fourth child, and she still isn’t expecting another baby. Gossip Cop is taking a look back at this inaccurate rumor we corrected exactly one year ago today.

The untrue report was initially published by In Touch. According to its article, Kardashian’s then 7-year-old son Mason accidentally revealed the news she was pregnant during a family visit to Disneyland. A so-called “source” was quoted telling the tabloid, “He was overheard saying he was going to be getting a brother or sister. He was quickly told to be quiet because it seemed this wasn’t something that was supposed to be discussed.”

The outlet’s questionable “insider” further ridiculously alleged there was a good “reason” Kardashian didn’t “want her secret out just yet.” The tabloid’s purported tipster asserted Kardashian told friends “She didn’t know who the father is,” adding, “She has a big problem.” The publication reported the two possible dads were her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick, the father of Mason and Kardashian’s two other children, and model Younes Bendjima, who she’s currently dating.

But magazine’s entire story about Kardashian being pregnant and not knowing who her baby daddy was was a piece of fiction. When Gossip Cop looked into the claim a year ago, a source close to Kardashian assured us the report was simply “made-up.” Of course, once again our impeccable contacts and time have proven us right. Kardashian was never pregnant with her fourth child, nor was she unsure who the father was of her nonexistent baby.

Unfortunately, Kardashian has been plagued on a few occasions by false reports of her expecting baby number four. After Grazia magazine misquoted the reality star, Kardashian cleared up baby rumors on Twitter by writing, “I see online that I said I was pregnant in an interview, but that was completely taken out of context.” Gossip Cop wishes in the new year that outlets like In Touch apologize for or at least correct their wrong.
