Kourtney Kardashian did not "cut ties" with Scott Disick, contrary to a provably false tabloid report. Gossip Cop can set the record straight.
The new issue of Life & Style has a dramatic headline about the exes, announcing, "Kourtney Drops Him For Good." It says in the teaser, "After Kourtney Kardashian cuts ties with Scott Disick, he heads down a dangerous path." After detailing some of Disick's alleged partying, the tabloid asserts Kardashian was previously "always there to help" him, but "not anymore."
The reality star "cut off all contact with Scott," a so-called "insider" claims to the gossip magazine, which alleges Kardashian is "so disgusted by his behavior" that she wants nothing to do with the father of her three children. The outlet goes on to allege "Kourtney even gave Scott an ultimatum: Get sober or stop seeing the kids... but it didn't register." Contends the publication's supposed source, "She's done everything she can to help, and he's rejected the efforts. The only person who can save Scott now is himself."
It is true that no one can make Disick maintain his sobriety. But the allegations about the current status of his dynamic with Kardashian are false. Far from cutting ties and contact or dropping him for good, the co-parents actually traveled to Nantucket this week for a family vacation with their kids.
While Disick obviously struggles with addiction and his partying often appears reprehensible, he has committed to abstaining from his vices while around his children. And in the weeks before this joint trip with Kardashian, he stepped out on his own with Mason and Penelope on more than one occasion, confirming that she has not stopped him from seeing the kids. Of course, Life & Style has a long history of publishing inaccurate articles about these two stars (not to mention many others).
In 2015, the tabloid actually wanted readers to believe Disick was in a "romance" with Kylie Jenner. In 2016, Disick himself mocked the magazine for suggesting he was Khloe Kardashian's baby daddy. More recently, in March, there was an untrue cover story about Disick supposedly writing a Kardashian tell-all. Meanwhile, the outlet has falsely impregnated Kardashian with babies from Disick (2015), Justin Bieber (2016) and Younes Bendjima (2017). Clearly, this publication is one of the last places fans should be getting their Disick-Kardashian news.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
