Kourtney Kardashian and Younes Bendjima did not have a secret wedding, despite a new tabloid cover story. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the claim that the two recently got married in a "hush-hush" ceremony. We're told it's completely "false."
The Australian edition of OK! blares on its latest cover, "Kourtney & Younes' Secret Beach Wedding!" It adds right beneath the headline, "After turning down her baby daddy for years, Kourt's officially moved on." What's more, the publication features a photo of a beach wedding with several guests, as well as a picture of Kardashian dressed in white, holding a bouquet.
Inside the magazine it's explained that "with the world watching for the arrival of her sisters Kim, Khloe and Kylie Jenner's new babies, it's been the perfect time for low-key Kourt to sneak under the radar and say 'I do' in secret." And while it was private, a so-called "insider" contends that Kris Jenner is "desperate to air" the nuptials on "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" to boost ratings, but Kardashian and Bendjima said, "No." The alleged "insider" further shares that the marriage ceremony, held in Mexico, wasn't like a "traditional Kardashian wedding" and was just "him, her and a celebrant on the beach, with no cameras around."
Wait, if there were no cameras and just them exchanging vows on the beach, who are all the people pictured on a beach on the tabloid's cover? Well, quite deceptively, the Australian magazine published an aerial shot of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's 2015 wedding on the actor's Caribbean island, and tried to mislead its readers into thinking it was Kardashian and Bendjima's supposed "seaside" ceremony in Mexico. But how about the main image of the reality star dressed in white, holding a bouquet of white flowers? Actually, that photo is from when Kardashian was a bridesmaid at her sister Kim's wedding to Kris Humphries in 2011.
Even though Gossip Cop nailed the publication for misrepresenting the photos on its cover, we still investigated whether Kardashian and Bendjima possibly had a "beach wedding" in Mexico, and we're assured it's all a lie. A source close to the Kardashian exclusively tells us the entire article is "false." She did not marry her boyfriend in "secret" or otherwise.
This is hardly the first time Gossip Cop has busted the tabloid for publishing an untrue report about the reality star. In March, for example, we nailed the outlet for falsely maintaining that Kardashian was having a baby with Justin Bieber. That article was a fabrication, and so is this latest one that claims Kardashian and Bendjima had a "secret beach wedding."
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
