Kris Jenner is not begging Kourtney Kardashian to take charge of the "Kardashian empire," nor has the family matriarch stated her oldest daughter is now her "favorite" child, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can correct this claims. The momager fully intends to continue to oversee the various businesses of her kids and she openly admits she favors different children at different times.
In a new article titled, "Kris Begs Kourtney To Take Charge Of The Kardashian Empire After Kim & Khloe's Messy Scandals," RadarOnline writes, "Move over, Kim, mom has a new favorite." According to the website, amidst the issues Kim and Khloe are having with their partners, Jenner's new favorite is Kourtney. A so-called "family insider" is quoted as saying, "She's the go-to of all the sisters right now, for big picture decisions."
The same unnamed and ill-informed source maintains, "Khloe's in the doghouse for sticking with Tristan [Thompson], while Kim's very focused on her and Kanye [West]'s dramas." As for Kendall and Kylie Jenner, the alleged tipster maintains, "The other girls are too young or inexperienced business-wise." Instead, the supposed "insider" offers, "Kris is thrilled with Kourtney's work."
Actually, the last time Jenner declared a "favorite," it was Khloe. In an interview with the Australia's "Kyle & Jackie O" radio show," Jenner said Khloe's "on the favorite child list," noting how the two have recently been "bonding and shopping for the new baby." However, the momager clarified that the "favorite" title "changes every day" and "depends on the day since there's a lot of dynamics in a mother/child relationship."
As for Jenner having problems with Kim and Khloe because of their men, that too is entirely inaccurate. Far from Khloe being "in the doghouse," the family matriarch has been extremely supportive of the new mom. When asked on Friday about the scandal with Thompson, Jenner told Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show that Khloe's "figuring it out one day at a time." and that she's "there to support my kids no matter what happens." "Khloe is amazing. I'm so proud of that kid," added Jenner.
In that same episode, the momager didn't seem too fazed either by her son-in-law. When the subject of West came up, Jenner explained to DeGeneres, "Kanye has a lot of love for all of you, all of his fans... He always does things with really good intentions."
So now that it's established that Jenner changes favorites on a near daily basis and that she's supports Khloe and Kim and her other children "no matter what happens," let's look at the claim about her begging Kourtney to take over the "Kardashian empire." Frankly, there's absolutely nothing to support that. As for assertion that Kendall and Kylie are too "inexperienced business-wise" to take control, ironically the two youngest family members are arguably the most successful right now. A few months ago, Forbes reported Kendall was the highest-paid model with earnings of $22 million in 2017, while Kylie's cosmetic's company is on track to becoming a $1 billion business.
More significantly, E! News published an article on Thursday titled, "Momager Mastermind: How Kris Jenner Built an Empire That Eats Controversy for Breakfast," and not a single phrase in the nearly 3,000-word story mentioned anything about Kourtney being her mother's "favorite" or taking over the reigns of managing the family. This isn't the first time one of the siblings has been wrongly named to be taking control of the "Kardashian Empire." In April 2017, Gossip Cop busted RadarOnline's sister outlet Star when it falsely contended Kim was going to replace Jenner as the family's manager. At the time, her rep told us it was inaccurate. Much like that article, everything in the new story about Kourtney and Jenner is provably untrue.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
