Kim Kardashian is not “pressuring” Tristan Thompson to propose to Khloe Kardashian, despite a new claim from the tabloids. Gossip Cop can bust this untrue story.

The allegation can be found in the new issue of In Touch, which features a headline exclaiming, “Kim To Tristan: Propose To Khloe!” According to the article, Kardashian has an “important message” for Thompson: “Put a ring on it or get lost!” The tabloid claims the reality star is “pressuring him” to pop the question to her sister.

Khloe is “madly in love with Tristan and wants to get married and have a family. But he hasn’t proposed yet,” a so-called “insider” is quoted as saying. So, “Kim basically told him to do it or move on,” the supposed source alleges to the gossip magazine, which contends Thompson “didn’t know how to respond” to the purported “demand.”

The outlet’s snitch asserts, “Tristan was floored, especially since he hasn’t spent a lot of time with the Kardashian family, on purpose. Kim was just looking out for Khloe, but her pushiness may have made things worse.” The alleged tipster adds to the publication, “Kim fears Khloe will lose Tristan if they don’t get engaged soon.”

Actually, Thompson isn’t going anywhere, regardless of whether an engagement happens. In fact, he’s only growing closer to the Kardashian family. Just a few weeks ago, the Cleveland Cavaliers player threw a surprise party for Khloe’s birthday, inviting all of her friends and family. And Thompson just spent the July Fourth holiday with the clan as well.

As for Kim meddling in the relationship, Gossip Cop is assured she just wants her sister to be happy, and knows that a wedding isn’t necessary for that. The contention that she’s “pressuring” Thompson to propose and issued a “demand” is “false,” a rep exclusively tells Gossip Cop. But there’s additional evidence In Touch doesn’t know what it’s talking about.

Last October, more than six months ago, the tabloid announced Kardashian and Thompson were not only engaged, but couldn’t “wait to tie the knot early next year.” Of course, “early next year” has now come and gone. And it seems the magazine is hoping readers forgot that story about an engagement while reading this new one about pressure for a proposal. But Gossip Cop remembers everything. And this shows that the outlet isn’t just inaccurate, but inconsistent, too.
