Kim Kardashian’s long-awaited interview on “The View” was finally broadcast on Tuesday. Check out the video below!

The ABC talk show began teasing Kardashian’s live appearance in early June. A short time before the episode was set to tape on June 14, the reality star tweeted, “Can’t wait! See you soon!” But the program was pre-empted due to the congressional shooting in Virginia. With the studio audience already there, it was decided Kardashian would film her sit-down that day anyway, and it would air at a later date.

Now nearly a week later, the chat was interwoven into Tuesday’s otherwise live episode. The segment began with Kardashian walking out to husband Kanye West’s song “Stronger.” With the audience screaming, Joy Behar quipped, “The way they carry on, you’d think you were a big star or something!” Asked about her large social media following, the “KUWTK” star said, “It definitely is a big responsibility and there’s a lot of pressure behind it. For anyone to say that there isn’t I think would be lying.

“I’m a little bit more cautious these days on what I do share,” she said, explaining that she no longer posts her location in real-time or flaunts gifts. “I don’t think that worked out for me so well when I was posting every last detail.” Of being held up at gunpoint in Paris, Kardashian told the panelists, “In life, things happen to you for a reason and you really do have to pay attention. I got the message, totally changed my life for the better.” She went on, “I’m grateful for the experience, even though that might sound crazy… It’s a great lesson for me to teach my kids.”

As Gossip Cop reported, Caitlyn Jenner was on “The View” in April to promote her memoir, and her former stepdaughter was naturally asked during her own appearance about the family feud over the book. But while stressing she doesn’t support some of the things her ex-stepfather wrote, Kardashian expressed confidence their relationship will be repaired. “I don’t want to discredit her feelings or her account,” she said of Caitlyn, explaining, “She’ll always be my stepdad and always be a person who raised me and taught me so much in life. [She] really stepped up to the plate, took over for my dad when he passed away, and I’ll never forget what Caitlyn instilled in us kids and was part of who I am today.”

Kardashian added, “We’re just taking a breather. We’ll get it together… It’ll work out.” On a happier note, it was pointed out that she and West just celebrated their third wedding anniversary. “I think we started off as friends for so many years and we were friends when we were in other relationships… I think that really helped to be the basis of our relationship,” she explained, amusingly adding, “I know when we’re 80 and can hardly move, I know we’re going to be talking forever. We’re best friends, and I think that’s what’s so important for us in our marriage.”

In honor of West’s 40th birthday, Kardashian surprised the rapper with a jaunt to Japan. “When you can sneak away on a trip and have no media there… No one bothered us. It was great,” she said. “It’s great to get away when there’s no noise and just us. That trip was really special.” As for their kids, the mom of two admitted she’s “terrified” of her children one day using social media.

Kardashian revealed she spent time at the Child Mind Institute to learn “tips and tricks we can do at home” to set up “boundaries” with technology. “Kids should not be falling asleep with their cell phones. Even me, I have to put my phone away,” she said, revealing she refuses to have hers out at meal times with Saint and North. The decision also harkens back to her own childhood, when she grew up with time limitations on TV and phone use.

With cameras capturing most of her life for “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” she revealed “there’s never been anything we’ve taken out” from the finished episodes. “By the time the show would air, the story would already get out in the media and it’s totally twisted, so it’s nice to show it our way,” the star pointed out. That prompted Behar to exclaim, “Leaks! You and Donald Trump have that in common.”

“I have thick skin and this isn’t for everyone. I can see why people get hurt and are bothered by it. I do break down at times,” Kardashian went on to confess. “I’m just like it’s not okay for people to say these awful things. For people to have all this keyboard courage to say the craziest things about you is okay and it’s not okay.” That’s included hateful comments questioning whether the robbery was staged.

Kardashian told the co-hosts, “That was something that was why I was like, ‘Okay, I need to take a step back. I need to take a step back from social media, from opinions. I don’t care, the truth will come out. I’m home with my babies. I’m safe.'” And it was other criticism that prompted her to rededicate herself to working out and revamping her diet.

“I saw these awful photos of myself when I was on a trip in Mexico and people were photoshopping them and sharpening them,” Kardashian said, referring to pictures that went viral online. “I was already not feeling myself and people were sharpening them and making them way worse. I was like, ‘Okay, I’m going to get it together.'” Watch the videos below!
