Kim Kardashian is “upset” with her surrogate’s birthing plans, according to a new report. But it comes from the same tabloid that wrongly claimed the surrogate was having twins, when just one baby is actually on the way. Now a rep for Kardashian confirms to Gossip Cop exclusively that this new story is untrue, too.

Life & Style is claiming it “exclusively learned” that “the surrogate carrying Kim and Kanye West’s third child is insisting on giving birth in the San Diego area, against Kim’s wishes,” as it’s “around two-and-a-half hours south of where the couple lives.” Notice the gossip magazine, when writing about this “third child,” does not acknowledge previously inaccurately claiming the couple was expecting two children. Ignoring its previous falsehood, the outlet goes on to contend that Kardashian “hoped the birth would take place at LA’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where kids North, 4, and Saint, 23 months, were born.”

“Kim is disappointed,” a so-called “insider” is quoted as saying. The publication’s supposed source points out that “Cedars is known for spa-like birthing suites that even come with a private chef,” as if that actually matters when it comes down to the actual delivery. The tabloid claims, however, that “even though Kim won’t be delivering her daughter herself this December, she’d planned to book a separate suite where she could bond with the baby.” But the magazine and its alleged tipster maintain that when “Kim asked about VIP birthing suites when they were discussing the hospital that the surrogate would give birth at,” she was “not encouraged to get her own.”

“Kim’s annoyed, but she’s even more stressed she could miss the birth completely,” alleges the outlet, with the purported source asserting Kardashian and West will “have to go to San Diego around the due-date time and just wait. Their lives will have to be on hold.” Notably, the publication doesn’t actually say when in December the due date is. And it’s further telling that nothing is said about its cover story from two weeks ago, which claimed Kardashian was divorcing West before the baby is born. Gossip Cop busted that fabricated allegation, and Kardashian even showed off their “date night” on Instagram after the erroneous article was published.

So, Life & Style was wrong about Kardashian and West splitting, was wrong about twins and doesn’t seem to know the specific due date. That makes it quite apparent that the tabloid shouldn’t be trusted when it purports to know the details of the surrogate’s birthing plans and how Kardashian feels about them. Gossip Cop is actually told by our own Kardashian contact that there is a mutually supportive relationship between the surrogate and the reality star. A rep for Kardashian further tells Gossip Cop this story is “false.”
