Kim Kardashian's supposed "selfie obsession" is not causing a "rift" in her marriage to Kanye West, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can correct this story, which falsely claims the reality star's relationship with her husband is "on the brink" of ending because of her photo habit. We're told it's all "ridiculous."
According to RadarOnline, West "assumed" Kardashian's "selfie obsession" would change following the birth of their daughter Chicago, but it's only "gotten worse." A so-called "source" is quoted as telling the website, "Kim's relentlessly focused on her body, modeling shoots... and of course, her selfies." The outlet's alleged "insider" goes on to assert that the rapper is the "total opposite," and "couldn't care less about [his] image right now." Instead, he's only concerned about his "family and leading a normal life," adds the blog's tipster.
The site's questionable "source" further claims, "He's tried reasoning with her... but it's like talking to a brick wall." The outlet's "insider" contends that West told his wife "he won't tolerate this behavior much longer," but Kardashian "just can't quit her body and selfie obsession, and it's pushing Kanye away."
Gossip Cop looked into the website's story, and a source close to the West tells us on the condition of anonymity that it's completely "ridiculous" and untrue. While Kardashian is known for her selfies and even published a book full of them, she's not "obsessed" to the point where it's causing a "rift" with her husband. On the contrary, West is on the record as a fan of her self-portraits.
In a 2016 interview with Harper's Bazaar, West actually praised Kardashian's nude selfies. "I love the ones from the side, the back ones, and the front. I just love seeing her naked," West said. He went on to gush, "It's almost a renaissance thing, a painting... I think it's important for Kim to have her figure. To not show it would be like Adele not singing."
Clearly, since the claims go against the performer's own public comments, it's obvious the site's entire story is nothing more than a fabrication. Of course, this isn't the first time Gossip Cop has called out RadarOnline for making up a tale about the couple. Just last month, for instance, we corrected the website when it falsely alleged Kardashian and West were battling over the name of their third child. Much that like piece of fiction, this latest claim about the reality star's so-called "selfie obsession" causing a rift in her marriage to West is similarly off-base.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
