Kim Kardashian is not "ruining" the ratings of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," despite a new made-up report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this concocted story. We're told there's "no truth" to it.
According to often disproven RadarOnline, the ratings for the E! reality series are the "worst ever" and "the famous sisters are pointing the blame at one family member in particular — Kim." A so-called "insider" tells the webloid, "The entire family is completely freaking out right now. They would not know what they would do with themselves if the show got cancelled." The site claims Kim didn't fully promote the show after her robbery in Paris, and now Kourtney is "livid with Kim because the whole family is relying on her to keep them on the air."
The repeatedly discredited outlet's source further alleges, "They have always relied on Kim and now Kim seems to be completely just over it because she seems to think that she will continue being super famous whether or not KUWTK is on the air." Notwithstanding how unnatural the previous quotation sounded, since people rarely use the show's acronym when speaking, the same highly suspect "insider" notes that while other family members have their own businesses, "Kourtney really has nothing else going on, so she is the most upset about the possibility of being cancelled."
For starters, no one is blaming Kim for the show's ratings. Granted, viewership tends to dip after 13 seasons, but everyone knows that it's actually the retelling of Kim's robbery at gunpoint that has been attracting viewers this season. Gossip Cop checked with several Kardashian, Jenner and E! sources and not one could verify the site's claims. An impeccable Kourtney confidante tells us there's "not truth" to the RadarOnline tale, and Kim's own rep also confirms the webloid's article is wrong.
Of course, Gossip Cop is not surprised by the falsity of the story. Remember, this is the same untrustworthy site that reported in 2015 Kourtney was quitting "Keeping Up With The Kardashians." And it's the same outlet that Gossip Cop busted when it similarly alleged incorrectly that Kim was leaving "KUWTK." None of those or scores of other articles published by the webloid about Kim and her reality series were accurate, and neither is this made-up claim.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
