HollywoodLife claims to "exclusively" know whether or not Kim Kardashian will retaliate against Taylor Swift for slamming her in her new song, but the reality star's supposed decision is made-up. Gossip Cop can expose this bogus article.

It's widely believed the lyrics and the imagery in the video of Swift's new single "Look What You Made Me Do" are a direct attack against Kardashian and her husband Kanye West, and now HollywoodLife is pretending to know how the reality star plans to deal with the situation. A supposed "source" tells the site, "Kim is torn between clapping back at Taylor in some way with an epic revenge move and simply rising above the petty argument and moving on with life."

The outlet's questionable insider adds, "So much has changed in Kim's life since she last engaged with Taylor. Kim's focus really is being a good mother and a positive role model for her children." The alleged source continues, "Kim may take action again against Taylor but it will be in a careful, calculated way when the time is right."

Only, it's already been reported by Gossip Cop and many other outlets that Kardashian is ignoring Swift's song for the time being, so there's nothing remotely "exclusive" about the webloid's story. But more importantly, the article's quotes were fabricated and didn't come from any actual Kardashian insider. Multiple sources close to the reality star assure us no one from her camp is talking to HollywoodLife. The untrustworthy blog has simply regurgitated information that's already been reported, then concocted quotes from a so-called "source" and deemed it "exclusive."

In fact, prior to Gossip Cop and other publications reporting that the reality star isn't responding to the pop star's diss track, HollywoodLife first falsely alleged Kardashian was "preparing for war" against Swift and mulling over options for how to "clap back." We also recently busted the webloid for making up Kardashian's reaction to the music video for "Look What You Made Me Do." The outlet is once again capitalizing on Swift's new song by offering its phony take on the controversy.

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop believes there to be elements of truth, but the story is ultimately misleading.
