Is Kim Kardashian getting professional help for North West? That’s the very personal claim coming from the tabloids, but Gossip Cop has exclusively learned it isn’t true. We can also reveal what sparked the allegation.

As Gossip Cop reported, Kardashian guest co-hosted “Live with Kelly and Ryan” earlier this month while Kelly Ripa was on vacation. As she chatted with Ryan Seacrest, the mom of two revealed North isn’t a big fan of her little brother, Saint West. “I don’t know if it’s ’cause she’s the older sister. I don’t know what it is. I thought it was a phase. She does not like her brother. It’s so hard for me,” the reality star said. “And I thought it was like, okay, a couple of months, she’s just warming up to it. She’d get so jealous, you know, when I would breastfeed him and all that kind of stuff. And now, just the phase isn’t going away.”

Kardashian went on to share, “But her thing is, she thinks she’s outsmarting me. She’s like, ‘We’re having a tea party, mom. No boys allowed. Dad, you can’t come, too, then. And like no boys.’ And she’ll just slam the door on her brother’s face and he’ll just start crying. Like when they both are standing there, he likes to imitate her now, so if she’s crying, he’ll just start fake-crying, and I’m like, ‘Pick one of you! I can’t pick up both of you.'”

Now the National Enquirer has taken parts of those comments and is using them for a story titled, “Kim’s Brat North Hates Little Brother!” The supermarket tabloid is known for its outrageous headlines, but it’s particularly inappropriate to call a 4-year-old, one who did not even choose to be in the spotlight, a “brat.” And given that many kids that age don’t get along with their siblings, it’s ridiculous to deem North a “brat” for showing common kid behavior.

But according to a so-called “insider” for the gossip magazine, Kardashian has “sought professional help to get them to make peace. She is all ears for whatever a pro has to say.” Of course, she said nothing about that on “Live,” and, tellingly, the outlet has no other details. The rest of its brief article is just filled with Kardashian’s quotes from the show. So, why doesn’t the publication have any more information to back up its serious claim? That would be because it isn’t true. A rep for Kardashian exclusively tells Gossip Cop the assertion is false. And while this isn’t the first time North has been inappropriately targeted by the tabloids, it’s especially disappointing to see a made-up story about a child getting mental help.
