Kim Kardashian’s former boss Paris Hilton has not been “begging” Kris Jenner for a contract to be on the family’s reality series. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this fake news story. We’re told it’s 100 percent not true that Hilton is pushing to be on “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”

The claim comes from RadarOnline. To back up its bogus story, the website maintains a “source close to the Kardashian clan” says, “Paris really wants to appear on ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ as a regular, or even as a friend role.” The same ill-informed or more likely fabricated “source” adds that the Kardashians are “considering offering her a contract to appear on the next season.”

“Paris thinks that they only have what they have because of her and has made this crystal clear to Kris,” asserts the questionable tipster. Then, after noting how the hotel heiress and Kardashian are “tight again,” the highly suspect “source” contends that Hilton has been “kissing” up to her former assistant.” While this all sounds very dramatic, it’s completely wrong on so many fronts.

For starters, Kardashian was not really Hilton’s assistant. She did, however, work for the blonde socialite as a fashion stylist, organizer and shopper. But more significantly, Hilton isn’t “kissing” up to Jenner to be on “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” Hilton has built up a billion-dollar empire. She certainly doesn’t need exposure or money through “KUWTK.” Glaringly, the often discredited site never once mentions what Hilton’s motivation allegedly would be for wanting to be on the reality series. And the reason is because there is none. The entire article is fake news.

It seems this fabricated tale may have been inspired by Hilton recently dressing as Kardashian’s clone for a new Yeezy campaign. Or perhaps because Hilton was photographed with Jenner on Monday at a Rachel Zoe fashion event in Los Angeles while “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” cameras rolled on the family matriarch. Regardless of why it was written, the article is inaccurate. Of course, the blog seems to have forgotten that Hilton, who’s constantly approached to do another series, actually introduced the Kardashians to Bunim/Murray Productions, the producers of her show “The Simple Life” and then later “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”

On occasion, having the facts or accurate reporting has not stopped RadarOnline from publishing stories. In 2016, for example, Gossip Cop busted the website for falsely claiming Kim Kardashian was quitting “Keeping Up With The Kardashians. The outlet returned to that similar theme in June 2017 when it swore up and down that the Kardashians were ending the reality series over Caitlyn Jenner’s bookThe Secrets Of My Life. Conversely, just a few months later the family signed a $150 million contract to extend the program on E! for five more seasons.

Not surprisingly, the equally untrustworthy The Hollywood Gossip picked up the untrue tale for a piece it titled, “Paris Hilton to Kris Jenner: Please Let Me Be on Keeping Up with the Kardashians!” Irrespective of both outlets’ track records and the sheer falsity of its latest story, Gossip Cop checked in with sources close to both Hilton and the Kardashians. Speaking on the condition of anonymity, a Hilton insider tells us the claim is “absolutely not true” that the heiress is angling to be on the show. And mutual friend of ours and the Kardashians, who wasn’t authorized to comment on the record, similarly assures Gossip Cop the articles are 100 percent “false.”
