Kim Kardashian and her family are not opening a "seven-star" boutique hotel in Los Angeles, despite an untrue tabloid report. Gossip Cop has looked into the matter. There's no truth to the story.
According to Heat, the reality star is planning to open a 10-room hotel along with her sisters, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, and Kendall and Kylie Jenner. Kanye West will be involved as well, says the outlet, as well as Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner. The tabloid quotes an alleged "insider" as as saying, "Kim pitched it, as she feels there is room for growth in the millionaire's market. So by 2023, the Kardashians want to have their K-Suites seven-star boutique hotels launched."
The story continues by revealing completely over-the-top details about the imaginary hotel, where rooms will supposedly go for "several thousand dollars a night." "You will be able to choose from one of ten themed rooms that show off the sisters' design skills," adds the alleged tipster. "The remaining four rooms will be designed by Kris, Kanye, Rob and the girls' grandmother, MJ." The so-called "source" goes on to make even more ridiculous assertions, like saying there "will be a kids' playroom with a spectacular doll house - you could live in it - with designer clothes to wear."
The "insider" continues, "Each property will have top-of-the-line sports facilities and a spa, as well as climbing walls, a parkour fitness course, in-room hairdressing and styling, and free Cristal Champagne on tap." The article gets even more absurd when the insider claims the hotel will offer cosmetic procedures, including Botox. The "source" adds that after the LA hotel opens, the Kardashians are planning at least three additional hotels, "in Miami, New York and Kanye's new favorite place, Wyoming," where he recently purchased a ranch.
This story is way over-the-top, so Gossip Cop still checked in with a spokesperson for Kim, who tells us in no uncertain terms that it's all made-up. Despite what the magazine's anonymous "source" claims, the reality star's rep confirms she's not opening a lavish hotel with her family.
This is hardly the first time Heat has concocted a crazy story about the reality star. Last year, Gossip Cop busted the magazine for falsely claiming Kim was sending baby gifts to Meghan Markle in an effort to become her friend. Shortly before that, the outlet wrongly alleged Kim and West were faking their relationship for the cameras. Neither of those reports were remotely true. The Kardashian family won't be opening the doors to their hotel anytime soon either.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
