Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are not letting their daughter North name their third baby, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We're told it's "untrue."
According to the serial fibbers at HollywoodLife, Kardashian and West are trying to involve their eldest child North in her "little sister's life" by letting her name their third baby. A so-called "insider" tells the unreliable outlet, "Kim and Kanye are very concerned about how North is going to react to the new baby. It's especially challenging because they're using a surrogate so they can't even really prepare her." The same seemingly made-up "source" continues to claim that "Kim has called on a parenting expert to get advice on what to do to avoid sibling rivalry... one of the suggestions was to let North help name the baby so she feels more invested."
Perhaps because the site knows it's latest fabricated tale could blow up in its face, like so many other of its articles, its questionable "insider" suddenly back away from its original premise, noting the couple is only "considering" letting North choose the baby's name. The made-up tipster hedges, "Kim's kind of on the fence about the idea," but West "loves" it. The almost assuredly concocted "insider" maintains, "[West] thinks North is a creative genius and he's happy to let her name their third child."
But as Gossip Cop has noted in previous stories, it's hard to believe a legitimate source close to the couple spoke to the aptly nicknamed HollywoodLies about their children. Remember, we busted the blog when it absurdly alleged the couple was considering naming their son "Lamar" before settling on Saint. That report was obviously completely false, and the same goes for the latest piece of fiction.
When Gossip Cop checked into the site's claims, a rep for Kardashian told us the article is "untrue." Even though the couple will soon be welcoming their third child, Kardashian and West don't have a name picked out for their baby just yet. And while it's true North has been jealous of her brother Saint, the often discredited website's assertion about the couple allowing a four-year-old to name their third baby is not only inaccurate, but it's also entirely made-up. If parents really did that, there would be hundreds of thousands of kids named "Elmo" and "Dumb Dumb Head."
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
