Kim Kardashian is not "fuming" over Kylie Jenner's Forbes cover, despite a claim. Gossip Cop can bust it. The false allegation comes from a website that repeatedly tries to pit the sisters against each other.
On Wednesday, Forbes released its latest issue with Jenner on the cover to represent its list of the "60 richest self-made women." She ranks 27th, with the magazine explaining that with a net worth of $900 million, she is well on her way to becoming the youngest billionaire ever thanks to Kylie Cosmetics. Meanwhile, Kardashian also appears on the list, with a net worth of $350 million, in the number 54 spot.
Now RadarOnline is contending Kardashian is a "bitter sister" who is "fuming" over it. A so-called "informant" is quoted as saying, "Kim may have congratulated Kylie on social media for the cover, but inside she is fuming over this." "She just can't let Kylie win," alleges this untraceable insider, who asserts, "Kim cannot believe that Kylie did in three years what she has not done in her entire life so far. She even told her family that she created Kylie and that she would be nothing without her."
Now Kardashian is supposedly focused on "taking her down." But it must be stressed that she didn't just congratulate Jenner on social media with a perfunctory message. Kardashian was actually the first in her family to post on Twitter about Jenner's cover at all. Not only that, but a few hours later, Kardashian did a second Twitter post showing her admiration and excitement. "Wait I'm posting this again just because!!!! BILLION DOLLAR BABY," she celebrated. The "KUWTK" star as a primary source is far more valuable than the blog's unidentifiable "informant."
Just as significant is that the website and its questionable tipster fail to mention that Kardashian scored her own Forbes cover story exactly two years ago. It doesn't make sense to contend she is jealous of something she's already achieved. But this is a bogus sibling feud narrative that the website has been pushing for years. In fact, last fall it was Jenner who was said to be "fuming," over Kardashian's perfume launch.
It should also be noted that less than a month Kardashian shot down speculation about a "sibling rivalry" over KKW Beauty and Kylie Cosmetics. She explained how they target different fan bases, coordinate their launches and even team up on products. But RadarOnline doesn't tell readers any of this, because it rather perpetuate a phony narrative that's based on fiction, not fact.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
