Did Kim Kardashian really yell at Kanye West for overtipping their movers? A tabloid is claiming the rapper had to ask for half his tip back after his wife tore into him, but Gossip Cop can set the record straight. We’re told it’s “not true.”

As widely reported, earlier this month Kardashian and West moved into their new Hidden Hills home after seemingly never-ending renovations. Now, in the new issue of Star, the publication claims the reality star wasn’t happy when West generously tipped their movers. A so-called “source” is quoted as telling the gossip magazine, “Kim and Kanye were there the whole time, making sure all of their valuables and pricey possessions got safely transported to their new mansion. At the end of the long day, Kanye kindly thanked the foreman, handing over a generous $2,000 tip for the movers to share.”

The outlet’s supposed “insider” goes on to maintain that when “cheapskate Kim” found out about West’s “hard cash exchange,” she called him over “to kvetch about his overtipping,” and ordered the rapper to ask for half of his tip back. Gossip Cop looked into the story, and a rep for Kardashian tells us the article is 100 percent “not true.” Of course, even if the singer gave a $2,000 tip, it would be a mere drop in the bucket for Kardashian and West who made $20 million on the sale of their Bel-Air mansion.

It should be noted, Gossip Cop previously corrected the unreliable tabloid when it falsely claimed in November that Kardashian was only moving because she felt “terrified” after a burglary. But, as we pointed out at the time, there never a robbery at the star’s Bel-Air home. A perpetrator attempted to burglarize cars that were parked outside their property and never actually made it to Kardashian’s residence. Much like that inaccurate, this latest one about Kardashian yelling at West for overtipping their movers is equally wrong.
