Are Kim Kardashian and Kanye West really "fighting" after Kris Jenner suggested they sell photos of their new baby Chicago? That's the latest claim coming from one of the tabloids, but Gossip Cop can exclusively correct it. We're told it's "ridiculous."
As previously reported, Kardashian and West welcomed their third child via a surrogate earlier this month. Now, according to the latest issue of Life & Style, Jenner tried to convince the couple to sell pictures of their baby daughter as part of a multimillion-dollar deal, and while Kardashian was supposedly happy to do it, West refused. A so-called "source" tells the magazine, "Kim was actually all for it. It was Kanye who forbid it. Turning down millions isn't in Kim's DNA." The outlet's alleged "insider" goes on to assert, "Kris fielded offers and presented them to Kim and Kanye," before claiming the rapper was "the only one opposed to the idea."
Gossip Cop fact-checked the claim, and Kardashian's rep assures us the entire story is "ridiculous" and "false." As it was noted in each instance, Kardashian had no interest in selling pictures of her other children, 4-year-old North and two-year-old Saint. In both cases, she simply posted their baby photos to Instagram about two months after their births. So, why would the reality star suddenly want to cash in on photos of Chicago?
The truth is both Kardashian and West would never even think of selling the new baby's photo, and Jenner didn't even bring up the topic since she knows they're both on the same page. Right now, Kardashian is focused on being a hands-on mom, and contrary to the outlet's claim, hawking shots of her youngest child is the last thing on her mind. The entire article is simply nothing more than a fabrication, her camp tells Gossip Cop.
Unfortunately, we're not surprised by the tabloid's latest tale since this isn't the first time we've had to debunk a story about Kardashian's third kid. One month before Chicago was born, for example, Gossip Cop busted Life & Style for publishing an absurd story that falsely asserted Kardashian wanted to name her third baby "Kristmas." In that article, the often discredited publication fully maintained that Kardashian was inspired to name her daughter after her favorite holiday.
And prior to that, Gossip Cop called out the outlet when it wrongly claimed in a cover story that Kardashian and West were set to divorce before the arrival of baby number three. The tabloid boldly declared the couple was "officially over." Of course, both reports were completely made-up, and the same goes for the current article about Kardashian and West fighting after Jenner suggested they sell photos of their newborn baby. UPDATE: As we reported, rather than sell the first photo of Chicago, Kardashian posted it to Instagram on February 26.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
