Kim Kardashian is not jealous of her surrogate, despite a ridiculous report claiming the pregnant woman is getting all of the attention from the reality star's friends and family. Gossip Cop looked into the situation and we can exclusively set the record straight. We're told it's "false."

"Jealous Much? Kim Kardashian Envious Pregnant Surrogate Is Stealing Her Spotlight!" blares a new RadarOnline headline. The accompanying article quotes a so-called "source" as saying, "Whenever she's with Kanye all he wants to know about is the surrogate who's carrying their child. He rarely asks about Kim herself anymore. Kim loved the attention she would get from her husband and everyone when she was pregnant, but now people seem to be forgetting she's about to be a mom again."

The outlet's questionable insider further claims the reality star is also envious that her surrogate gets to eat anything she desires while pregnant. "She makes thinly veiled jokes about missing being pregnant because it was the only time in her adult life she's been able to stop dieting," says the alleged source. "Now she knows she'll never be able to binge on junk food again."

Gossip Cop, however, is exclusively assured by Kardashian's rep that the webloid's tale is "false." It's possible this article was concocted based on the news that Kardashian didn't invite the surrogate to her recent baby shower. However, jealousy had nothing to do with the decision. Kardashian star explained on the talk show "The Real," "Of course I would have wanted her to be there, and be a part of it, but I hadn't really gone that far in explaining it to my kids yet."

As for the site's assertion that Kardashian's family has pushed her to the side in favor of the surrogate, she noted on the talk show, "I introduced her to my family earlier that day." And in regards to her relationship with the woman carrying her third child, the reality star said, "I love her. I have the best relationship with my surrogate. She's so nice. She's the perfect person to do this for my family." Clearly, there's no jealousy involved.

It should be noted, this isn't the first time RadarOnline has published a bogus story surrounding the surrogacy. Gossip Cop recently busted the site for falsely claiming Kardashian and Kanye West were fighting nonstop amid their alleged "surrogate drama." This latest article on the subject is equally untrue.

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
