Kim Kardashian did NOT get an I.V. treatment prior to last week’s Met Gala so she’d “have a glow for the red carpet,” despite an inaccurate report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s “false.”

According to the New York Post, Kardashian used a service to get intravenously hydrated as a beauty regimen before the big fashion event. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “She ordered a treatment with plenty of vitamins along with the fluids and electrolytes.” The newspaper then goes on to quote its dubious source as saying, “Kim wouldn’t even make eye contact with the nurse administering her the I.V. Any conversation and instructions were directed through an assistant.”

But Gossip Cop checked in with a rep for Kardashian, who exclusively tells us Kardashian didn’t undergo I.V. therapy before the Met Gala, nor was she rude to anyone during this nonexistent procedure, and the publication’s claim is simply “false.” Regardless, the reality star proved she didn’t need any unusual remedy to prepare for the red carpet. As Gossip Cop reported, named Kardashian and Kanye West the “best dressed couple” at the event. She wore a custom, metallic Balmain dress in keeping with the theme of this year’s show, “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology.”
