Kim Kardashian is not "in love with her life guru," despite a ridiculous report. Gossip Cop can bust this absurd example of fake news.
The claim can be found on the OK! website, where it's said, "Kim Kardashian's relationship with Kanye West has been rocky ever since she was robbed in Paris and after Kanye suffered a mental breakdown. It seems that Kim found refuge in another man." The tabloid is referring to Tony Robbins, who is a motivational speaker and author.
The gossip magazine claims to have "exclusively learned that Kim dragged Kanye to one of Tony's motivational speeches, only to ignore him and focus on the guru himself." A so-called "insider" is quoted as saying, "Kim's a life-long fan of Tony. She's read all his books and watched all his motivational videos, but nothing could prepare her for the man in person. Kim's had such a mad crush on Tony for so long she actually started welling up in tears."
"Kanye was so embarrassed and pissed about it. He's never seen her like this," the outlet's supposed source alleges. The purported snitch further contends, "She was like a star-struck Beatles fan. Kim thinks Tony's 'God' and literally hung off every word. She's crazy about him." And the publication ends its piece by asking, "Do you think Kanye should worry about Kim's obsession with Tony?"
Uh, no. First off, Kardashian and West went to see Robbins in March. If there's such an issue in their marriage over him, why is OK! only reporting these claims now in June? And why has no other reliable news source made similar allegations in the last few months?
Secondly, it's actually kind of amusing that the magazine its making hay out of Kardashian supposedly "ignoring" West at the show and "focusing" on Robbins. Wasn't focusing on Robbins the whole point of going? She and her family went to his show to see him speak, so it only makes sense that her attention would be on him. That said, there's been no evidence the reality star has an "obsession" with him, contrary to the contention here.
Lastly, while the tabloid obviously wants readers to think there's could be a romance brewing between Kardashian and Robbins, the article fails to mention he's been married since 2001. So, no, Kardashian is not "in love" with him, at least not in the sensational way the magazine's headline implies. Gossip Cop is told the whole story is "laughable."
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
