Kim Kardashian is not "freaking out" over the arrival of baby #3, despite a report. A new story makes a bunch of claims, yet provides no evidence to back them up. Gossip Cop can bust it.
With Kardashian and Kanye West set to welcome their third child via surrogate this month, RadarOnline is claiming, "The reality star is 'freaking out' in the final days before the birth." A so-called "Keeping Up with the Kardashians' source" is quoted as saying, "Kim is completely overwhelmed right now and she does not know how she is going to fit this third child into her busy schedule." To be clear, this alleged tipster is suggesting Kardashian doesn't actually have time to care for her children. That's absurd.
The webloid then asserts, "To make matters worse, it seems that hubby West isn't holding up his end of the bargain when it comes to daddy duty." How so? The site never says. The blog instead alleges that "instead of feeling supported" by pregnant sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, Kardashian "feels overshadowed by her siblings."
Contends the outlet's purported snitch, "Kim hates that she has to share the pregnancy spotlight with her sisters because they are getting all of the attention." How so? Again the online publication doesn't say. It throws out these claims, but doesn't have any evidence to substantiate them. And on the contrary, Gossip Cop can refute them.
First off, Kardashian has admitted in interviews that the surrogacy process has been "much harder" for her than she anticipated. But that's not because she's "overwhelmed," although she is a busy person. It's because she's not in "control" of the situation since she's not the one carrying the child. As Gossip Cop has already reported, there is anxiety about the looming delivery, but nothing unusual for such a situation. Second, West is a devoted father and no reliable publication has ever suggested otherwise. Of course, West was by his family's side on Christmas and New Year's, and at the hospital when their son Saint was recently treated for pneumonia.
Third, the Kardashian clan has spoken endlessly over the years about supporting one another as their family grows. The notion that there is a rivalry because three of the women have kids on the way is ridiculous. She had their full support, for instance, at her baby shower in November. Not to mention, even with Khloe and Kylie both expecting, Kardashian is still getting plenty of media attention. She's not exactly suddenly hurting for press coverage. In fact, RadarOnline in particular writes about the "KUWTK" star quite regularly, although typically not accurately.
Lastly, the past week was undoubtedly more stressful due to Saint's hospitalization. But as Kardashian wrote on Twitter earlier Tuesday, "Don't even try me when it comes to my kids." She is a dedicated mother and the claim that her third child won't "fit into her busy schedule" is offensive and insulting, especially when there's no evidence to support such a claim. Frankly, the site has no business coming for her at all given its track record. For years the webloid has wrongly been claiming Kardashian and West are on the verge of divorce. The outlet clearly peddles fictitious claims and has little regard for the truth.
Gossip Cop believes there to be elements of truth, but the story is ultimately misleading.
