Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are not fighting over filming the birth of their third baby, despite circulating reports. Gossip Cop can bust the claims, as well as explain how they originated.

As Gossip Cop reported, on Wednesday In Touch published a story alleging Kardashian is having “drama in the delivery room.” Of course, she’s not in the delivery room yet as her surrogate is still very much pregnant. But the tabloid claimed to know that there’s a host of problems stressing out the reality star surrounding her daughter’s arrival. Gossip Cop went through the article, pointed out the misinformation and confirmed with Kardashian’s rep that the questionable contentions were “false.”

But now on Thursday, HollywoodLife is picking up the already debunked claims and regurgitating them as if they’re true. And not only that, the webloid is extrapolating the various allegations separately so that it can increase its traffic by running multiple stories. The site first copied the untrue contentions about the surrogate banning Kardashian from the delivery room, and is now repeating the falsehoods about a fight with West over whether the birth will be filmed.

The online publication quotes a purported “insider” from the gossip magazine as claiming, “They’re at loggerheads about the birth being filmed for ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians.’ Kanye’s made it clear that cameras are banned from the delivery room.” The blog further shares the additional allegation that West “doesn’t even want Kris Jenner to be there either,” but Kardashian is supposedly “not having any of it.” The print “source” is quoted again as saying, “Kim’s insisting that Kris be by her side, and is trying to convince Kanye that filming it will increase their popularity and the show’s ratings.”

HollywoodLies, as it’s nicknamed, goes on to acknowledge, “Kim and Kanye did NOT film the births of North West, 4, or Saint West, 2, for the show, so we can’t imagine this new baby’s grand entrance will be any different.” Why, then, is the webloid spreading this misinformation about a fight over the subject? And why were the allegations picked up without any fact-checking and after they were already disproven? Because the site doesn’t care about accuracy. It cares about clicks, so it saw fit to break up the In Touch article into multiple posts without any regard for whether the assertions are actually true.

And they’re not true. As rightly noted, Kardashian and West agreed not have TV cameras capture the births of their two older children, so why would they be disagreeing now over filming as a private citizen delivers? As if Kardashian wasn’t okay with showing herself in labor, but is okay with exposing a stranger whom she hasn’t even publicly identified. Please. Gossip Cop also must point out that HollywoodLies picking up the inaccurate tabloid story without investigating its merits once again shows the blog doesn’t have real, legitimate sources of its own.

If it did, it wouldn’t be running erroneous information, like it did almost exactly a month ago when wrongly claiming Kardashian and West weren’t finding out the gender of their baby. Here’s verified information the online publication actually can repeat: It’s a girl.
