Kim Kardashian and Calum Best did NOT date, contrary to a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the story.

In a purported “exclusive” on Monday, The Sun is announcing, “Celebrity Big Brother’s Calum Best had a secret affair with Kim Kardashian… and they ‘still keep in touch.'” Kardashian is described as Best’s “biggest conquest.” It’s specifically alleged, “The ladies’ man and son of football legend George had an ‘intimate romance’
with Kim when they both lived in Miami before she became famous.”

“Their fling happened years before Kim’s sex tape with ex-boyfriend Ray J turned her into a household name, having been introduced by her step-brother Brody Jenner,” claims the British paper, which quotes a so-called “source” as saying, “Kim and Calum dated when they were a lot younger — they weren’t in the public eye back then. The pair used to hang out in the same social circles and shared a lot in common as they both had famous fathers.”

The Sun goes on to contend, “Calum’s fling with Kim happened even before she married music producer Damon Thomas in 2000 — seven years before her sex tape with Ray became public. Rapper Ray quit Celebrity Big Brother this series after a ‘three day toothache,’ meaning himself and fellow contestant Calum never got to discuss Kim in detail.”

But the outlet’s supposed snitch further asserts, “Calum was close pals with Brody and is still friends with him and Scott Disick today. Kim is obviously married now but Calum still keeps in touch with the family when he’s in the states.” Yet this “affair” and “intimate romance” was kept under wraps for the last 17 years, despite both stars living in the spotlight? That sounds… odd.

Not surprisingly, when Gossip Cop looked into this fishy tale, we learned it’s not accurate. While Kardashian and Best did attend grade school together, “they never dated,” a rep for the reality star tells Gossip Cop exclusively. Of course, The Sun is the same U.K. tabloid that last month wrongly claimed Kardashian had “banned” Kanye West from her family’s Christmas party. The newspaper might want to look into getting better Kardashian sources.
