Kim Kardashian is not going bald after years of dyeing her hair, despite a false tabloid report. Gossip Cop can debunk this claim. We're told it's nonsense.
According to the National Enquirer, the reality star is suffering hair loss as a result of coloring it so often. Kardashian has gone from platinum blonde to pink and then back to brunette in recent weeks, prompting an alleged "insider" to tell the magazine, "The result is her hair has become brittle and is falling out in clumps."
The outlet's questionable source further contends that Kardashian is extremely worried about her supposedly thinning locks. "Her hairdresser has warned her to stop using harsh bleaches or risk going bald," adds the questionable tipster. "Kim's in a real panic because her hair is her crowning glory."
None of this is accurate. When the reality star dyed her hair pink last month, a handful of people on social media accused her of wearing a wig. To prove that her hair was the real deal, Kardashian tugged at her roots in an Instagram video. "This is my hair. There is no wig," she told her followers. The reality star further noted she uses a treatment called Olaplex 3 "to strengthen my hair," which looked quite thick in the footage.
As for the tabloid's assertion that the reality star's stylist has warned her to stop using bleach, this is provably untrue. Kardashian's stylist Chris Appleton recently told E! News all about the process involved in dyeing his client's hair, noting that he uses "the right shampoo" to keep her locks looking healthy.
Regardless, Gossip Cop is also told by a source close to Kardashian that the tabloid's article is "ridiculous." Our insider wasn't at liberty to comment on the record, but we're told the reality star simply isn't going bald. This is a non-story that was seemingly concocted to capitalize on the fact that Kardashian switches her hairstyle so often.
Additionally, the Enquirer is hardly a reliable source when it comes to getting accurate information about the reality star. Gossip Cop recently noted how the tabloid wrongly reported a year ago that Kardashian was retiring from TV, which obviously didn't happen. This latest article is more lies from the unreliable outlet.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
