Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are not "at war over baby #3," despite yet another sensational report about the couple. Gossip Cop can exclusively reveal why this story is mostly fiction, not fact.
As Gossip Cop reported, Kardashian recently confessed on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" that doctors have advised her to use a surrogate if she wants to have a third child. While she has not indicated if she will go that route, RadarOnline is now claiming Kardashian and West are fighting over their "surrogate baby plans." The site contends, "The couple can't agree on any of the details of their baby deal, and it's turning their dream of having another child into a 'nightmare!'"
A so-called "family insider" asserts to the webloid that Kardashian believes "another kid will save their marriage, but she and Kanye can't agree on anything involved in this process." The outlet's purported source alleges the stars are "really trying to figure out what type of contract their choice for surrogate will sign," and Kardashian "has made it clear that she will pretty much pay anything for another baby."
"In addition to offering their surrogate a six-figure deal, they will also make sure she has full security and benefits and that she is spoiled and pampered the entire time," claims the webloid's tipster. But on what "details" do West and Kardashian disagree? Tellingly, the article never says.
RadarOnline initially declares that the couple is "at war," goes on to say they "can't agree on any of the details," and insists the situation has become a "nightmare." Yet nothing is provided in the story to back up any of those assertions. Rather, it seems the blog just wanted to continue its years-old narrative that Kardashian and West's relationship is on the rocks, hence the "family insider" claiming she wants a third child to "save their marriage."
But as Gossip Cop has routinely demonstrated, the marriage isn't in need of saving. We have repeatedly called out the site for its erroneous split stories. In fact, last summer, Gossip Cop was even told that RadarOnline doesn't fact-check its false Kardashian-West divorce claims before publishing them. Here it seems the webloid not only didn't bother to fact-check its new story, but also couldn't muster up a shred of evidence to support any of its vague allegations.
Having a baby, naturally or not, can be a stressful experience. Disagreements often arise. And it's unclear where Kardashian and West's current journey will lead them. But while things may not always be smooth sailing, as they're not for any couple, a rep for Kardashian exclusively tells Gossip Cop the "at war over baby #3" claim is entirely "false." And another Kardashian confidante similarly assures us they're "not fighting." It seems the outlet took a kernel of truth (Kardashian discussing possibly using a surrogate), and turned it into an unsubstantiated article to advance its own fake news agenda about them having marital issues.
Gossip Cop believes there to be elements of truth, but the story is ultimately misleading.
