Kim Kardashian has received an apology letter from one of the men who robbed her in Paris last year, Gossip Cop has learned. Kardashian’s legal team in France were given the letter from Aomar Ait Khedache, the alleged organizer of the heist.

In the letter, which was handwritten in French, the mastermind behind Kardashian’s terrifying robbery wrote, “After observing your emotion and realizing the psychological damages I inflicted, I decided to write to you, not to obtain from you some sort of indulgence. I want to come to you as a human being to tell you how much I regret my gesture, how much I have been moved and touched to see you in tears.”

The robber, who allegedly orchestrated the high-profile heist during last year’s Paris Fashion Week, went on to add, “Know that I fully sympathize with the pain you are enduring, your children, your husband, and your close ones. I hope that this letter will allow you to forget little by little the trauma that you suffered by my fault.”

The apology letter comes almost a year after Kardashian was held up at gunpoint in the French capital. The brazen gunmen entered her Paris apartment and stormed into her bedroom on the second floor, before holding a bound and gagged Kardashian in the bathroom as they stole millions of dollars worth of jewelry. A friend of Kardashian’s, who was staying in the building at the time, found the star after the gunmen left, but the robbers had escaped by the time police had arrived. Thankfully, she was left unharmed.

The reality star, however, believes the robber is attempting to appear remorseful in the build up to his trial, reports TMZ. Gossip Cop has reached out to Kardashian’s rep for more information surrounding the apology letter.
