Khloe Kardashian shows off her “revenge body” on the cover of Women’s Health, opening up in the September issue about transforming her life in the wake of her split from Lamar Odom.

As it turns out, though, Kardashian’s makeover actually began while the former couple was still together. As the marriage deteriorated, she found comfort in the gym. “It started around 2012. I was having a hard time with Lamar,” confesses Kardashian. “It was toward the end of our union, and there was so much drama. I needed a release. At first it was so hard. It was baby steps, but I started feeling so much better.”

That is, after the first 45 days, when she wanted to say “f*ck it.” Now Kardashian acknowledges, “Yeah, it’s a revenge body. But it’s just as much for all my critics who called me ‘the fat one’ for my entire existence.” And even Kanye West has taken notice.

Kardashian reveals her brother-in-law asked her to be a model for his Fashion Week presentation earlier this year. She recalls, “I was like, ‘Did you mean to call Kylie?’ And he was like, ‘No, I’m calling you. Your body vibes are my influence this year.'” As for Kylie, Kardashian admits it’s hard to see her younger sis able to eat more and work out less.

“I’m not going to put on a bikini, sit on the floor with my legs crossed, and eat a burger. When I see my little sisters do that, I’m like, ‘Ugh, these b*tches.’ I know they’re not doing it on purpose. This is how they really eat and it’s so annoying,” she vents. Of course, there’s another component, too.

Unlike most people, Kardashian struggles with her weight in the spotlight. “It’s definitely overwhelming,” she says of living in the pubic eye. “There’s pros and cons to everything, but there are times that you feel that there are too many people that know everything about me and you want to pull back.” The reality star goes on, “But then you have to remember why you were even put into this, the limelight. If it wasn’t for my family and us doing it all together, I don’t think this would be a bearable thing.”

Right now, one of the biggest challenges facing the Kardashian-Jenner clan is Caitlyn Jenner’s transition. Kardashian candidly tells Women’s Health, “I know she’s Caitlyn now, but she’s still my father figure [in the same way that] single mothers can also take on both roles. We want her to be as happy and free as she needs to be.”

“I tweeted that we’re all transitioning, assuming that people would understand that we were adjusting emotionally, not that I was implying we were all going through the same changes. I wasn’t trying to offend anyone. I’m learning. We’re all learning. It’s just hard to learn when millions are watching,” says the star.

As for Odom? Kardashian declares, “I love Lamar to death. He is the love of my life. We had a fantastic marriage. Do I wish he had tried harder? Yes. Do I think that he maybe didn’t have the energy to fight because he was fighting so many other things? Yeah.”

As Gossip Cop reported, Kardashian and Odom finally signed their divorce papers earlier this month. No word yet what he thinks of her “revenge body.” Tell us what YOU think in the comments below.
