Khloe Kardashian’s pregnancy is not destroying Lamar Odom, despite a made-up and malicious report. Gossip Cop can correct this fabrication. We’re told it’s “false.”

According to the National Enquirer, Kardashian’s pregnancy has “friends and family fearing for her drug-addled” and “fragile” ex-husband. A so-called “source” tells the supermarket tabloid, “He’s not taking news of her pregnancy well, and everyone around him is begging him to get help before he can do real damage to himself.” The outlet’s alleged tipster goes on to contend, “No one believes Lamar can survive another self-destructive disaster. If he’s not seeking psychotherapy or in AA, he’s at risk of self-harm and further brain injury.”

There’s one problem with the magazine’s story: It’s untrue. While the publication asserts that Kardashian’s reported pregnancy is “destroying” the former NBA star, in the real world Odom congratulated his ex-wife on her exciting baby news. “I wish her well,” he told Complex earlier this month. Odom added, “Still got love for her.” What’s more, Odom has reiterated in multiple interviews over the past year that he’s happy Kardashian found love with Tristan Thompson.

Still, Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Kardashian who assures us the magazine’s report is simply “false.” It almost feels as if the supermarket tabloid wanted to create its own angle, and so it took the news of Kardashian being pregnant with Thompson’s baby and twisted it into fake news involving Odom. But it’s all wrong.

Of course, we’re not remotely surprised by the outlet’s latest blunder, since the magazine has a long history of publishing inaccurate stories about Odom. In 2015, for example, Gossip Cop corrected the Enquirer when it untruthfully claimed that Odom left a suicide note before overdosing on drugs at a Nevada brothel. Much like that bogus article, the tabloid’s most recent report is equally off-base.
