Khloe Kardashian is not getting lip injections during her pregnancy, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can correct this tabloid claim. We're told it's just "wrong."
According to Star, Kardashian seems to have found a doctor who's letting her put "beauty over her baby" by allowing her to get fillers for a "plumped-up pout." A supposed "friend" of Kardashian is quoted as saying, "Khloe's been awful about herself since she got pregnant... She hates her body and so she's focusing on 'fixing' her face." The outlet's so-called "spy" further tells the tabloid, "Khloe's been warned it's not a good idea to be pumping chemicals into your body when you're pregnant, but she couldn't be talked out of it." Adds the alleged tipster in fake-sounding language, "Khloe refuses to deal with an expanding body and a deflating face."
Next, the publication has a doctor state very generally that "fillers have not been tested on pregnant patients," so it's unclear as to "the harm they may do to a fetus." The doctor notes that since there's no data, he personally does "not inject patients who are pregnant." Of course, that physician also does not personally treat Kardashian nor does he know whether or not she's had lip injections since finding out she's having a baby. Basically, the tabloid's inclusion of the doctor in its article is meaningless.
Let Gossip Cop point out some glaring issues with the outlet's article. The tabloid can quote a dozen doctors, but if they aren't treating Kardashian nor definitively know if she's getting lip injections, their speculation amounts to nothing more than a distraction. Also, what true "friend" of Kardashian would be sharing personal information about her with a gossip magazine?
More significantly, while Kardashian's pout does not even look that much fuller, it's actually quite common for women's lips to grow during pregnancy. A skeptic might argue the tabloid is just making up stories about the reality star. To be sure, just a few weeks ago, Gossip Cop busted Star when it published an entirely untrue tale about O.J. Simpson reaching out to Kardashian after his prison release to address paternity questions. That claim was 100 percent false, and we're told by a family rep that the outlet's latest article about Kardashian getting lip injections while pregnant is also "wrong."
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
