A new story about how Khloe Kardashian "refuses to get sucked into Lamar Odom's drama" after he collapsed in a club in L.A. is a complete fabrication. Gossip Cop is assured by a Kardashian insider that no one close to the reality star is talking to websites about her personal thoughts or reaction to Odom's incident. We're told it's all made-up.

According to HollywoodLife, Kardashian is "protecting herself" from Odom's "drama" and won't allow his actions and behavior to "bother her anymore." The site's "source," who may be Captain Obvious, supposedly tells the blog the reality star has "moved on," but will "always care" for her ex-husband. The same seemingly fictitious "source" adds that "when Khloe heard about Lamar collapsing in a club, her first instinct was to reach out to him, but she stopped herself... because she knows she has to stop trying to fix him."

Here is what's really going on. Odom collapsed in the L.A. nightclub Bootsy Bellows on Sunday morning. Initial reports claimed he had been drinking, but his rep said the former basketball player was simply dehydrated. Regardless of the reason, the aptly nicknamed HollywoodLies decided to capitalize on that brief yet scary moment to concoct its bogus article about Kardashian refusing to get "sucked into" Odom's drama.

Not only does HollywoodLies have a history of fabricating tall tales about Kardashian, but it also accidentally exposes how its alleged "source" doesn't really exist. While filling out its article, the website recounts how the reality star and Odom had a "tumultuous marriage" before noting that "Khloe has moved on with Tristan Thompson... and is reportedly pregnant." Clearly, if the outlet truly had an insider with information about how Kardashian doesn't want to get involved with Odom's "drama," that person would know whether or not she's expecting, rather than stating she's "reportedly pregnant."

Of course, Gossip Cop is no longer shocked by the site's penchant for publishing falsehoods. Among the many absurd tales we've busted was a story two years ago about how before Saint West was born, Khloe was told by Lamar that he wanted Kim Kardashian to name her son after him. More recently, we nailed the outlet for making up untrue reports about Kardashian splitting with Thompson, with whom she's having a baby.

But if you don't believe the blog has a credibility problem when it comes to the reality star, you can actually watch video of Kardashian laughing off a fake news story from HollywoodLife. Frankly, the only thing here that "sucked" was HollywoodLies' attempt to dupe its readers with yet another phony story about Kardashian.

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
