Khloe Kardashian and O.J. Simpson will not be taking DNA tests after he is released from prison, despite a sensational report from the tabloids. The story is based on the discredited rumor that Simpson may be Kardashian's father. But like that debunked claim, Gossip Cop can also confirm this new story is also untrue.
The piece in question can be found in the new issue of Star, which features the laughably dramatic and inaccurate headline, "O.J. Gets Paroled! Khloe Begs: Let Me See My Dad!" A so-called "source" is quoted as alleging Kardashian has spent years calling the imprisoned Simpson "at least once a week," one time even "screaming" about taking a DNA test. The tabloid alleges "prison officials had given their permission" for the procedure, but now "they won't have to begin the process inside a prison."
"Khloe is ready to have the paternity question answered," another purported "source" supposedly claims to the gossip magazine. This purported snitch goes on to allege to the outlet, "She had reached the mind-set where she wanted the paternity test to happen as soon as possible, no matter what O.J.'s status was going forward. Now that he'll be a free man, it's like fate stepped in to make it easier for them to connect."
No, it wasn't fate. It was the Nevada parole board following its guidelines, which call for well-behaved prisoners to be released after serving partial sentences. Star is merely using that to fuel old conspiracy theories about Kardashian having a different biological father than siblings Kim, Kourtney and Rob. The gossip media has spent years unsuccessfully linking her paternity to various men, with Kardashian herself even telling Gossip Cop exclusively in 2014, "I've had so many dads my head is spinning."
The reality star has always known who is her real father, and, as Gossip Cop has reported multiple times over the years, Kardashian has no interest in getting an unnecessary DNA test with Simpson. This is simply a false narrative that Star and its sister outlets, RadarOnline and the National Enquirer, have grossly fueled for a ridiculously long time. And Simpson's parole is now being exploited to feed the lies once again.
Notably, after Simpson's parole was granted last week, Kardashian tweeted in response to the renewed, but still made-up rumors, "People are [expletive] but I don't care lol I focus on the good." That response obviously doesn't jive with this story claiming she actually buys into speculation and is planning to do a DNA test. In fact, Kardashian's latest dismissal of such allegations conveniently isn't mentioned anywhere in the tabloid's article. That's because Star would rather print fiction over fact. Regardless, a Kardashian insider tells Gossip Cop that she's "over it" and finds it all "stupid."
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
