Kendall Jenner and Blake Griffin have been “warned” she’s “not welcome” at the Clippers’ facilities in Los Angeles, according to a report. The article claims the order is coming straight from the team’s executives. But is it true?
Though it’s the off-season, RadarOnline is announcing on Friday, “Blake Griffin Warned By Clippers Execs: Kendall Jenner Is Not Welcome Here!” Though the pair was only recently linked and haven’t confirmed they’re dating, the webloid alleges “the reality star is already causing trouble for the professional baller.” The site contends “Griffin’s Clippers bosses are up in arms worried that their star player’s performance will be negatively affected by his new love interest.”
The athlete was “warned that his new relationship with Kendall better not affect his form this season,” a so-called “pal” is quoted as saying, further asserting to the outlet, “He’s not telling anyone yet whether they’re actually together, but Clippers bosses have told him that regardless, she’s not welcome to crash their locker room and distract everyone with the Kardashian circus.”
“They saw what happened to Lamar Odom when he was with Khloe and they are not having that from their marquee player,” maintains this supposed pal. The purported tipster adds to the online publication, “Not to mention everyone feels sorry for his longtime partner Brynn, who everyone knows and loves. They can’t imagine how she must be feeling right now having the father of her children linked to a Kardashian.”
Griffin and his ex, Brynn Cameron, have two children together, but have been on and off since they welcomed their second child almost a year ago. It’s odd that a “pal” of the basketball player would go to a webloid with a story that makes him look badly. It makes Gossip Cop wonder if this negative tale was not inspired by a real source, but instead crafted because of Odom, and the way many have negatively connected his association with the Kardashians to his NBA career. Additionally, it’s also suspicious that RadarOnline and its alleged tipster know Griffin and Jenner have been “warned,” but don’t know if “they’re actually together.”
Not to mention, while the Clippers have full say over who can enter certain facilities, like their locker room, and attend practices, there is no legal ground to ban the model from going to games, as she has in the past. With all these counterpoints, it’s no surprise that Jenner’s rep exclusively tells Gossip Cop the story is “false.” It’s also worth noting the webloid has a well-documented history of publishing untrue stories about the reality star, including a piece earlier this year that ridiculously and wrongly claimed Jenner was going to play her dad Caitlyn in a movie.
Gossip Cop believes there to be elements of truth, but the story is ultimately misleading.
