A new report claiming Kendall Jenner warned rumored boyfriend Blake Griffin to stay away from her family is completely made-up. The bogus article says the model is worried about the Kardashian-Jenner clan driving the NBA star away, but there’s no truth to any of it. Gossip Cop can exclusively set the record straight.

Jenner and Griffin haven’t confirmed they’re dating, but the pair has been spotted together on numerous outings in recent weeks. An article posted on OK!’s website now says she’s worried about her family interfering in her love life and has advised the Clippers player to snub her mom and sisters. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “He’s been invited over to Kris’s for dinner numerous times, but Kendall’s told him to ignore the invites and keep away.”

The outlet’s dubious insider goes on to say Griffin isn’t totally comfortable shunning the Kardashians because he’s “worried he’s being rude, but ultimately he trusts Kendall’s judgement because the last thing he wants is to be cursed like Caitlyn [Jenner], Lamar Odom and so many others.” As for Griffin’s inner circle, the seemingly phony source further alleges, “His friends don’t think much of Kendall, who they see as stuck up and annoying.”

But Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the situation, who exclusively assures us the outlet’s article is completely “false.” We’re told the tabloid’s rundown of events is simply fabricated. Unfortunately, we’ve already had to correct several bogus reports surrounding the model and athlete’s apparent relationship.

Gossip Cop recently busted OK!’s sister publication, the National Enquirer, after it wrongly reported Jenner was banned from Griffin’s Clippers games because NBA bosses deemed her a distraction. That phony report came shortly after RadarOnline similarly alleged Jenner isn’t welcome at Clippers games, which isn’t at all the case. This latest article arbitrarily throwing the Kardashians into the mix is equally unfounded.
