Kendall Jenner is "livid" after Kylie Jenner refused to attend her birthday party, according to a report on Friday. Gossip Cop, however, can exclusively reveal the truth.
On Thursday night, Kendall, who turned 22 on Friday, celebrated her birthday with a dinner attended by family and friends. Noticeably absent from the festivities were Kylie and Khloe Kardashian, both of whom are pregnant, but have yet to publicly reveal that. They did not attend Kim Kardashian's own birthday dinner last week, either. But now RadarOnline is blaring in a headline, "Baby Over Birthday! Kendall Livid After Pregnant Sister Kylie Skips Party."
In the accompanying story, the webloid asserts Kylie "REFUSED to attend because she is not ready to reveal her baby bump," and now the "twisted sisters" are in a "nasty spat." Why are the Jenner siblings "twisted"? The site never says, and is just as illogical when it notes Kendall is dating NBA player Blake Griffin and contends, "Perhaps that is why Kendall didn't mind that sister Khloe, 33 — who is pregnant and lives in Cleveland, Ohio, with a NBA player — couldn't make the party!" Wait, because Kendall is dating Griffin, she didn't mind that Khloe, who is also dating a basketball player, didn't go to her birthday dinner? That makes no sense.
Yet the outlet goes on to claim Kendall was only "furious" over Kylie's absence. A so-called "family insider" is quoted as saying, "She thinks Kylie is an idiot for not coming to her party. If the tables were turned, Kylie would throw a fit. Kendall does not understand why Kylie is trying so hard to hide her pregnancy and that she chose to remaining in hiding over attending her birthday." And, as if this would have anything to do with the issue at hand, the supposed source adds, "Kendall is just glad that she isn't the one with a baby on the way!"
Let's look at this rationally, since the online publication clearly didn't. RadarOnline is claiming Kendall is "livid" that Kylie didn't attend her birthday party, even though Khloe, Rob Kardashian and her other family members, like Brody and Brandon Jenner, didn't either. And the model is supposedly upset that Kylie is hiding her pregnancy, even though Khloe is doing the same. But she's "furious" with Kylie and no one else? There really isn't anything here that actually substantiates that.
Furthermore, it was not any kind of surprise to Kendall that Kylie would not be in attendance, and it wasn't meant to be a personal dig against her, either. As noted above, neither Kylie nor Khloe attended Kim's birthday party either, which, by the way, the webloid also tried to twist into something scandalous, just as it is doing now with Kendall's bash. Also, the suggestion that Kendall is not understanding that her younger sister is privately dealing with a life-changing development is insulting.
On the contrary, Gossip Cop is told by our own impeccable source that Kendall is very understanding of Kylie's decision to lay low right now, as well as Khloe's. Additionally, as opposed to the site's unidentifiable "source," a rep for Kendall exclusively tells Gossip Cop on the record that it's untrue she's "livid" with Kylie for abstaining from the dinner.
This also isn't the first time the site has tried to pit the sisters against each other, or even the first time it used the "livid" allegation to do so. Nearly two years ago, the outlet claimed Kendall was "livid" that Kylie was featured in Vogue. The publication, however, failed to mention that Kylie appeared in a spread about the younger siblings of models, which meant the shoot was actually done in tribute to, not in competition with, Kendall. Kendall was supportive of her sister then and remains so now. And while, like most siblings, they don't always get along, RadarOnline is once again peddling a false narrative instead of the truth.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
