Kelly Osbourne has settled the defamation lawsuit filed against her by Ozzy Osbourne’s mistress, Michelle Pugh. The settlement was announced on Friday evening.

As Gossip Cop reported, Ozzy admitted earlier this year to having extramarital affairs, leading to a brief separation from wife Sharon. Pugh came forward as one of the women, alleging she was in a relationship with the Black Sabbath rocker and loved him. Kelly did not take the news well.

In addition to posting Pugh’s cell phone number, she tweeted, “Anyone looking for cheap chunky LOW-lights a blow out and a b***job call.” She went on to write, “My father is almost 70 ever heard of elder abuse?” The comments led Pugh to sue Kelly for defamation in August.

In the lawsuit, Pugh said she was “slut-shamed, bullied and harassed” by Kelly, and had suffered emotional distress as a result of the messages. She also claimed she lost work as a stylist, had her privacy invaded, and refuted Kelly’s claim that she had taken advantage of Ozzy.

Then earlier this week, Pugh amended her complaint, accusing Kelly of targeting her as “a publicity stunt for financial gain” and “stimulat[ing] controversy for the purpose of making money.” But now, just days after the new filing, the two sides have reached a confidential settlement. Pugh’s attorney tells People, “The tweets have been removed and the lawsuit has been privately resolved. The resolution statement is mutual.” Gossip Cop has reached out to a rep for Kelly for comment.
