Kelly Clarkson performed for “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2018” on Sunday, as part of the the Billboard Hollywood Party in Los Angeles. Watch the video below!

For the very first time, the annual West Coast festivities were hosted by Ciara, who replaced Fergie as this year’s emcee for the “New Year’s Rockin Eve” Hollywood concert segments. In addition to Clarkson, the Los Angeles line-up also included Kane Brown, BTS, Fitz and The Tantrums, Khalid, Marshmello, Shawn Mendes and Charlie Puth. As for the East Coast celebration, which was once again hosted live by Ryan Seacrest and Jenny McCarthy, numerous stars planned to take the stage in Times Square, including Mariah Carey, Camila Cabello, Nick Jonas and Sugarland.

As Gossip Cop has reported, Clarkson recently released her highly-anticipated eighth studio album, Meaning of Life. It marked her first-ever release with Atlantic Records, after parting with RCA Records in 2016. She said in an interview about her transition to a different record label, “What’s cool about Atlantic Records is that they love every part of my personality, as far as all the colors of my voice. They are down to really make whatever record I’m into, which is real rare. So, I’m super excited about it.” The star has dropped two singles from her album so far, “Love So Soft” and “Move You.”

Of course, as strong as she’s ending 2017, the singer is set to have an exciting 2018. Earlier this year, it was announced Clarkson will be joining season 14 of “The Voice” as a coach, along with series regulars Blake Shelton and Adam Levine. The season will premiere in late February. Clarkson recently said of her new gig, “I’m so excited to join ‘The Voice’ at NBC. We’ve gone back and forth about a role as a coach for years, but the timing hasn’t been right until now. I can’t wait to turn my chair and see the faces of up-and-coming artists and provide them with the help and support they’ve needed to break into the industry.”

Hopefully the contestants tuned into tonight New Year’s Eve performances to pick up a few pointers from the “American Idol” champion. Check out the video below of Clarkson. NOTE: The video is no longer available.
